About me

Welcome to my homepage!

I am an associate professor and assistant director of the Institute of Mathematical Sciences at ShanghaiTech University, where I have been a faculty member since 2019. Prior to that, I held postdoctoral positions at Bonn, Mainz, Bath, and Hannover.

I received my PhD in Mathematics from Stanford University in 2009, under the supervision of Professor Jun Li. I received my BSc in Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2004, under the supervision of Professor Sen Hu.

My primary research interests lie in algebraic geometry, with a particular focus on the interaction between moduli spaces of sheaves and holomorphic symplectic manifolds. More specifically, my interests include:

  • Moduli spaces of sheaves and complexes on Calabi-Yau manifolds
  • Holomorphic symplectic manifolds and their degenerations
  • Derived categories, stability conditions, and wall-crossing

If you are on campus, you can find me in Office S516 at the School of Creativity & Arts. Additional information is available on my official university profile.

Due to the complexities of the campus mail system, please contact me in advance to request a shipping label should you wish to send me any items by post.
